The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Long Island, in partnership with Committee Chairs Jesse Giordano and Devin Kulka, recently held their first Man & Woman of the Year Committee Meeting. The goal of this group of like-minded individuals is to secure 20 candidates for the 2020 campaign.
The Man & Woman of the Year campaign is a fundraising competition in which candidates compete to raise the most money for blood cancer research. Candidates are nominated by their peers and are supported by a team of volunteers who work tirelessly to help them reach their fundraising goals.
The campaign is a powerful symbol of hope and unity, as candidates and volunteers come together to support a common cause. The funds raised through the campaign go directly towards critical research to improve patient outcomes and provide support services to patients and their families.
The success of the Man & Woman of the Year campaign is only possible through the dedication and commitment of volunteers like Giordano and Kulka, who work tirelessly to recruit candidates and raise funds for blood cancer research.
