Hauppauge Heroes Named #1 Community & School Team at 2023 Long Island Light the Night

We’re excited to recognize the Hauppauge Heroes for being named the #1 Community and School Team at the 2023 Long Island Light the Night, hosted by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

The Hauppauge Heroes represent the heart of what this event is all about—young leaders, educators, and families coming together to make a difference. Year after year, this team has shown incredible spirit, drive, and dedication to raising awareness and critical funds in the fight against blood cancers.

In 2023, their commitment reached new heights. Through school-wide campaigns, local outreach, and creative fundraising efforts, the Hauppauge Heroes rallied their community in a big way. Their hard work helped fund groundbreaking research, patient support programs, and advocacy efforts that bring hope to families across Long Island and beyond.
